Meeting the Moment: Collective Resistance in the Workplace and Beyond

At Tercero Solutions, we hold fast to a simple and powerful truth: migration is natural. Just like the winds shift, rivers flow, and animals move in search of warmth, sustenance, and safety— human beings move too. Across deserts, oceans, and mountains —migration is the essence of life.

And in this era of profound change, displacement, and transformation, we’re called to remember that.

We affirm the dignity of all migrants, whose journeys are shaped by centuries of colonization, climate disruption, and economic extraction. These aren't just political issues—they’re human realities that make up the fabric of our workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities.

Tercero Solutions stands with our colleagues, clients, and neighbors who are immigrants, asylum seekers, refugees, and undocumented community members. We are for rematriation: the return to nurturing, land-based, matriarchal wisdom that restores right relationship—with each other and with the earth. As a values-driven consultancy, we use strategy, operations, and technology to help build that reality—within organizations, communities, and systems.

A Statement from our Founder, Kim Tercero:

As I reflect on my own family’s story, I am grateful for the courage my elders had in seeking safety and refuge in a country that forced them to leave their native lands in the first place. The violence of diaspora at the hands of colonizers and imperialists continues to this present day. And yet, we the descendants of the land, nurture and heal those wounds by practicing good stewardship and honoring the places we now call home. While I may be detribalized, the teachings of my ancestors shape how I show up in the world—and how I run my business. What traditions, values, or histories inform the way you lead, hire, or build community through your work?

As business owners and employers, we can meet the moment by upholding dignity, equity, and care in our workplaces. We can also support local immigrant-owned businesses, buy from street vendors, report and disrupt abductions, and support pro-immigrant legislation, sanctuary policies, and community-based organizations doing the work on the ground.

Technology provides us with unprecedented power to connect, map out needs, and organize. We’re looking ahead—mapping the months to come, staying nimble, and centering justice in every solution we design.

We’re proud to affirm: every person deserves safety, dignity, and care.

Let’s build toward that—together.
